Cambodian students meet at CFAI 006
July 29, 2008
Cambodia students in Nagoya held a Cambodian Forum for Academic Initiative (CFAI) Regular Session 006 on Sunday, July 27, 2008. CFAI is one of the academic activities of the Cambodian Students Association in Nagoya (CSAN), consisting of regular session held twice a year, and irregular session held as many times as necessary and administratively feasible to respond to the needs of the Cambodian intellectual community in Japan.
There were two presenters in this session. First, Mr. NGOV Penghuy of Graduate School of International Development (GSID) presented his journal published in the GSID’s Forum of International Development Studies (March, 2008) under a title: Governance, Foreign Direct Investment, and Economic Growth. Second, Ms. LY Sopheap of Graduate School of Law (GSL) presented part of her doctorate dissertation draft titled, Make Social Health Insurance Work in Cambodia: Market or Hierarchy?
Each presentation was followed by a Q & A session, and comments from the audience. It started from 3:00 pm and concluded successfully at 8:00 at GSID.
